CORTLAND
REUSE
ReUse Bridge:
Africa & Ukraine
We continue to partner with the Cortland Breakfast Rotary Club to send medical equipment abroad to those in need. We accept donations from our community of crutches, walkers, shower chairs, commodes, medical boots and more.
Once our donation bins are full, we reach out to our friends in the Rotary Club, and they pick up these donations and arrange a shipment to a country in need.

ReUse Relief
Vital Voucher Program
Cortland Reuse strives to support individuals in the community facing homelessness and resource insecurities, domestic violence, and other socioeconomic challenges. Through the tremendous efforts of community partners like Catholic Charities and DSS, we work to provide necessary furnishings, housewares, and household supplies to those in need so they are able to divert those funds to cover the cost of childcare, groceries, and education. Our mission is made possible through the generosity and compassion of grassroots giving.
Warming Kits
In the frigid temps of Upstate New York, we hope to provide some warmth to those experiencing homelessness. We keep on hand these warming kits filled with blankets, scarves, flashlights, toothbrushes, hand warmers and more. Locally we bring them to Warming Stations for them to hand out in our cold months to anyone in need.

Red Dragon Reuse
Cortland Reuse is into our 3rd year of the Red Dragon Reuse event! Reuse
staff and over 50 volunteers invade SUNY campus to help direct all the discarded ‘stuff’ the students usually leave behind in dumpsters into our collection bins and trailers. We have saved literal TONS from our local landfill (think mattress pads, small trash cans, lots of clothes, decorations, rugs, small appliances and more!). We then sort and process it all at Reuse, making it available for a limited time to our community at an affordable price.
